Free Horse Racing Picks: Tuesday - April 29, 2008
Race #7: Gonna make a WP play on the #2 Heavenly Trick. Basing this purely on the class drop and hoping that this long layoff doesn’t curse us, but let’s face it… it probably will. Stokes takes the reigns, which should help us out somewhat.
The overall PM card for Tuesday on ANY of the tracks doesn’t get me too excited. Keep that in mind and maybe stay away all together.
Race 1 ————————-
3-10 / 1-3-10 / All
Tough Race, expect surprises.
Race 2 ————————-
#11 Money Down
Obviously the choice in this race, I mean everyone else is REALLY all over the place so who knows?
Race 3 ————————-
3-9 / 3-4-9 / 3-4-6-9
Race 1 —————————
1-5 / 1-5-7 / All
These can be taken as Exacta Bets, Trifecta Bets, Superfecta Bets, however you want to spin the numbers. None of the races are in a specified finishing order, either. Like I always say, compare with your own and go from there. Best of luck!!
Race 4 —————————
#4 Pennyroyal - WP Bet.
4-1-7-9
Race 6 —————————
2-6-7-10
Race 8 —————————
1-4-6-7
Race 9 —————————
1-4-5
These are my three keys and I hate having more than two keys in a race. It makes spinning numbers so much more difficult due to the fact that keys never run 1-2-3 consistently (although when they do it usually pays big). We’ll see what happens.
Race 1 —————————
#2 Independent Act
#3 AmeliaIslandMissle
#5 Pushed For Time
Exacta Box: 2/3/5
Exacta: 2/1-3
Race 2 —————————
#4 Luck Is Due
Exacta: 4/1-8-7
Trifecta Box: 1-7-4
Race 3 —————————
#4 Hum That Tune
Exacta: 4/1-3-5
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the #6 Circus Tricks in this race as well. He’s ran for this much in the past and has done fairly well, but since then has been running 5,000-7,500N2L Claimers. Is he back and ready for the bump up? I’m not sure, but this is certainly no easy race to pick.
Race 4 —————————
#6 Moro’s Golden Gait
I’m also liking #8 Hank The Tank and #9 Second Base Man behind Moro. Compare and see what you like.
Race 5 —————————
Exacta: 1/4-6-8-9
This is another tough one. I can definitely see it going 1-4 or 4-1 though. Any of the other horses listed here behind 1-4 have a decent shot. I should probably just stay out of it, or keep my bets to a minimum.
Race 6 —————————
#5 LeadWithConscience
It seems to me that most of these horses have a history that is all over the place, which always makes it hard to pick winners. #5 LeadWithConscience seems to finally have his act together and has been doing great at this stake. As for the others I like: #2 Jeff’s Song and #6 Hebe’s Way.
Race 7 —————————
#1 Best Reflection & #1A Always Present.
#6 ShameTheMoon
#3 MusicMajor
The issue that scares me about #1 Best Reflection is that the #4 Burnt Chili usually gets the best of him. Watch out for that horse. Also, Best Reflection hasn’t been out since Nov. 19, 2006… however it really shouldn’t be an issue considering he has the 1A Always Present to back him up.
Race 8 —————————
#8 Dreamin of Angels
There are a ton of variables here, like the #1 Lady Newton, #2 Watch My Tail and #3 Ma Moo’s Spitfire - all of which have definite factors in this race. This is another race where I take it easy and check the odds before it goes off to see if there is any value to be had.
Race 9 —————————
#1 She’s A Red Devil
#4 Minh Tam
#8 Brean Can
I have plenty of possible keys in this race (besides the one listed)- so once again, compare with me and see what you like! Best of luck today.
